Wales Health Board
Chris currently works for the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board in Wales working with the Regional Partnership Board looking at ways of integrating health and social care to make care more accessible, delivered closer to home and to achieve better outcomes for citizens. Before this, Chris worked in central London for a Private GP for over 10 years where he was Practice Manager. It was during his role as Practice Manager that Chris first became aware of AMSPAR and completed his level 5 certificate and diploma in Primary Care and Health Management.
As well as his current role looking at integrated care, Chris is interested in project and programme management and the development of person-centred healthcare systems. He is delighted to be part of the AMSPAR Advisory Board and hopes that we can work closely in keeping AMSPAR as the benchmark for training and certification.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys cycling and the more unusual hobby of bellringing.
