AMSPAR works with /ILM to provide a range of nationally recognised accredited qualifications suitable for delivery as either full or part time study programmes. We offer these courses via the AMSPAR Health Academy. These range from Level 2 through to Level 5 and are available in a range of funded packages. AMSPAR also offer a number of non-framework courses. Our vocational courses allow you to explore your aspirations and continue with lifelong learning. We are a professional membership body and registered charity. AMSPAR is acknowledged by NHS Careers for non-clinical administration and management roles. Our qualifications are widely accepted by the NHS and Health organisations in the UK and internationally. Credits awarded in our professional and vocational courses at level 5, which are listed on the Ofqual register, may be used to help you gain an Open University qualification or degree.
AMSPAR performs two functions. It is a professional membership organisation which recognises both formal qualifications and length of service in a healthcare environment. AMSPAR members receive benefits and services including access to a free legal helpline, a number of newsletters and access to events in addition to valuable work and non-work related discounts.
Our Mission Statement is to promote quality and coherence in the delivery of vocational qualifications aimed at all non-clinical administrative and management staff. This includes Primary and Secondary Care, the Armed Forces, the Prison Service, Private Sector and the Third Sector. We encourage and support standards of excellence in the pursuit of continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
